It is also a transportation hub with the Union Subway Station and Toronto Ferry Island Terminal in this section.
East Bayfront is the site of many new waterfront developments. This section is just outside the business district and is in the heart of the city’s arts and culture scene. Newly opened public spaces include Sherbourne Common, Water’s Edge Promenade and Sugar Beach.
